Canceled-FarmFest

Gilfillan Estate 28366 County Hwy 13, Morgan

It takes thousands of exhibitors, partners, sponsors, volunteers and attendees to make Farmfest great and the safety, health and well-being of everyone involved with the show, their families, and surrounding communities is paramount. Therefore, it is with great disappointment and heavy hearts that we share that Minnesota Farmfest 2020 is cancelled. This decision was not made lightly, but rather in collaboration with officials and event partners. The great uncertainty caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, along with related governmental guidelines regarding large events, makes it impractical to hold a successful, engaging, and safe show. We understand that cancelling the show impacts the ag community but simply put, it is the right decision to make in these uncertain times.

Over the past ten months, the Dakotafest team has worked very hard preparing for Dakotafest 2020 and the celebration of the show’s 25th anniversary. As the COVID-19 pandemic has affected the world, we have carried on, optimistic for the future. It takes thousands of exhibitors, partners, sponsors, volunteers and attendees to make Dakotafest great and the safety, health and well-being of everyone involved with the show, their families, and surrounding communities is paramount. Therefore, it is with great disappointment and heavy hearts that we share that Dakotafest 2020 is canceled. This decision was not made lightly, but rather in collaboration with officials and event partners. The uncertainty caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and the precautions required to prevent future outbreaks, makes it impractical to hold a successful, engaging, and safe show. CANCELED-Canada’s Outdoor Show

Canada's Outdoor Park 744906 Oxford Road #17, R.R. #6, Woodstock

We are disappointed to announce that Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show will not move forward as an in-person event this year. Instead, we are exploring how we can deliver a digital experience to connect farmers with new innovation in a reimagined format. COVID-19 has taken away our choice to learn and connect at in-person events, but we know that harvest will still come this fall and farmers will start planning their spring crops. They will be considering seed choices and other inputs, along with the farm implements needed for the growing season. They will still want to learn about new livestock handling equipment and the latest dairy technology. Like all of us, farmers are facing unprecedented challenges and uncertainties during this pandemic, so we are rolling up our sleeves and exploring new ways to build connections and transfer knowledge through a new digital event. We commit to another update in June that will provide details around a new digital offering.
