EAU CLAIRE, WI — April 10, 2020 — The Executive Committee of Wisconsin Farm Technology Days 2020 Eau Claire announced today that it has postponed this year’s event to July 20-22, 2021 because of the impact Covid-19 is anticipated to have across Wisconsin this year. Huntsinger Farms, the 2020 Host Farm, has generously offered to host Farm Technology Days in 2021 in Eau Claire.
Saskatoon, SK., May 7, 2020 – In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, it is no surprise that Ag in Motion will take place as a digital event this year. Show organizers have determined that the gates cannot safely open to over 30,000 guests.
We are disappointed to announce that Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show will not move forward as an in-person event this year. Instead, we are exploring how we can deliver a digital experience to connect farmers with new innovation in a reimagined format. COVID-19 has taken away our choice to learn and connect at in-person events, but we know that harvest will still come this fall and farmers will start planning their spring crops. They will be considering seed choices and other inputs, along with the farm implements needed for the growing season. They will still want to learn about new livestock handling equipment and the latest dairy technology. Like all of us, farmers are facing unprecedented challenges and uncertainties during this pandemic, so we are rolling up our sleeves and exploring new ways to build connections and transfer knowledge through a new digital event. We commit to another update in June that will provide details around a new digital offering.
